good web wallets?

Hi. Ive been reading alot of guidelines to be safe while purchasing cryptocurrency and I am going to start purchasing this week.

So I am syncing a local wallet but i would also like to have a web wallet to keep smaller amounts on there as well.

So im curious what sites are the bigger ones and what to pick.

Any advice is apriciated.

I think wallets like coinbase are fine for small amounts. However if you spend you btc on gambling sites, then it would be not recommended, as they are known to seize the funds in the past.

To be totally honest, if you do not have full access to your coins (private keys) you are taking risks. Don't use online wallets. Use a wallet that is physically on your computer or on your smart phone for the Bitcoin that you want to be using, and cold storage (like a paper wallet) for your savings.

Sometime online wallets become essential while travelling. I think op mentions using one for only small amounts.
So this shouldnt be a problem here.

As you said you need a web wallet aside to keep small funds, i recommend blockchain.info although there was a security issues lately
but that is still the biggest one as you asked.

Blockchain.info is by far the most popular web wallet and you have your own private keys there.

Agreed, this is the best way if you are planning on long term holding.

Web wallets are too risky, avoid them if you can, especially those without multi-factor authentication.

Nope you can download them freely, except for those hardware wallets (Trezor and Ledger Wallet).
