Looking for some expert edvice here basically im knew to all this but i have requirements for like 1k BTc i dont want to lose any cash i want exactly what i pay for im not here to gamble i play poker for that. I really dont understand all the exchangers and stuff because surely there is risk ill be scammed. I already have a wallet i just need to buy the dam things. This will seem common nolage to some but i have to admit im lost i have googled bitcoins for dummies but im still lost so i must be a right thick twat. i would appreciate any help i can get on this. Thanks

Tangible Cryptography is selling their Surplus coins.  Possibly the best deal for an order of that size.

depending on what you mean by large quantity ... I'd recommend campbx over mtgox.  They move much quicker.

Campbx is terrible.  They have 2 deposits from me that cleared over a week ago (one from my bank and one from Dwolla).  They responded by saying "they are looking into it".  Both Dwolla and my bank have confirmed that the bill pay was cashed and that the Dwolla funds were sent without a return.
