Hello, miners.

If you're mining Lyra2REv2 with ccminer you should immediately update your ccminer to the latest official release, more information here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=29.

Best regards,
NiceHash team

Short notice for miners on Lyra2REv2: Please note that if you're using sgminer under Windows you should NOT use AMD Catalyst driver 15.x since you'll only get HW errors on Lyra2REv2 algorithm. Instead use 14.4 Catalyst drivers.

Take a look at the great Scrypt profitability at NiceHash! And it's PPS! You cannot get better deal anywhere else. 20% more than direct Litecoin mining!

I miss the days with profitability of 0.0003 per MH/Day or more. But yeah, http://poolpicker.eu/table?algo=scrypt confirms your steady rates, especially the last days. Keep up the good work!

Make sure you're using latest official firmware from KnC and you configure your miner for Scrypt-N-factor 11.

Hello,

A new version of NiceHash Miner has just been released. The new version 1.2.1.0 brings highly optimized AMD GPU mining for popular X11 (+100%), Quark (+50%) and Lyra2REv2 (+200%) algorithms on AMD Pitcairn, Tahiti and Hawaii GPUs along with some additional new features and bug fixes. The significant boost in X11, Quark and Lyra2REv2 algorithms are shown here when mining on four GPUs: R9 280X (Tahiti), 7950 (Tahiti), R9 290x (Hawaii) and 7870 (Pitcairn): https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=53

This is mandatory upgrade for users with AMD GPUs. After upgrading to this release re-run the Precise benchmark if you are using AMD GPUs. And remember - NiceHash Miner is a truly easy-to-use Windows software that will quickly turn your PC, workstation or server into money-making machine. Detailed description, application options and even full source code is available on the GitHub page.

Go ahead and get it here: download here!

Best regards,
NiceHash team

Hello nicehash,

I have noticed you have taken an interest in mining software development including ASIC, AMD, Nvidia, and CPU
mining.

Does this extend to Intel IGPU mining? I've seen some discussion of the topic and that at one time cgminer
supported it but I haven't found anything concrete to build on. If there is somewhere I can start I would like
to pursue this.

I would also like to plug my recent fork of TPruvot's cpuminer-multi. It doesn't compile on windows yet
but I'm working  on it.

We haven't worked on Intel IGPU mining support yet. However, since Intel IGPU generally supports OpenCL, it should be possible to add support for these GPUs into sgminer. Our latest branch of sgminer is available here: https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer. Currently we don't have any plans on adding Intel IGPU mining support into sgminer, however this does sound like interesting project and if someone is willing to do the development effort for this integration, we would definitely donate to this effort once integration is complete.

Best regards,
NiceHash team.

Best regards,
NiceHash team.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I tried another version of sgminer and it didn't recognize the IGPU. Since it has
apparently worked in the past on cgminer I was hoping the development had already been done and it would
simply be an integration effort. I'll keep looking.

If you have some other GPUs in the system, in addition to Intel IGPU (like AMD or NVIDIA cards), than you have to play with --gpu-platform <value> in order to detect proper cards.

Which URL are you trying to connect to? Use https://www.nicehash.com, WestHash was merged with NiceHash a long time ago. WestHash is now only a separate location, we call it USA location, while the primary location is EU location (formerly NiceHash location).

Now at the old Westhash address people get a message from Cloudflare about temporary problems with the connection and advising them to try after several minutes. There is nothing about being not active.

There would be better a redirection to www.nicehash.com.
