This thread has been pretty quiet, I hope people are still reading.

I have a couple of questions general in nature but do apply to Nicehash.

Is there a list of nicknames for all the different blake variations? I like the more technical names
Nicehash uses but I don't know which one is blake, blake2s etc. I'd like to incorporate them as aliases
in cpuminer-opt.

Also lyra2re has been hot on Nicehash the last couple of days. I thought that algo was dead alfter everyone moved to
lyra2rev2. I haven't found any new lyra2re coins. Anyone know what's going on?

Thanks.

Edit: I got blake256r8vnl working as vanilla but I can't get a connection to blake256r8 as blakecoin. Is this pool running?
Then there is blake256r14, is that decred?

In order to mine Ethereum is it missing the right Ethash script in NiceHash?

Truffacoin l'ho denunciato alla polizia di stato per diffamazione, lui ancora non ne ha risposto. Allora quello che c'è scritto qua è vero http://truffacoineunatruffa.com

Hey, NiceHash ... any chance you will ever make ethereum mining - stratum capable?

I cant find a eth stratum pool that does an exchange to btc and if there is a pool that does exchange to btc .. it doesnt support stratum. This is frustrating =(

I'm getting a lot of stale share rejects mining cryptonight. It can mine clean for hours but then it will start rejecting
20-25% (up to 50% on 5 min average) of the submitted shares. This occurs with both the Nicehash CPU miner as well
as cpuminer-opt with the Nicehash mod. It also occurs on all miners at the same time.

It seems to be clearly a pool issue. Is it being investigated? It may not hurt buyers very much but it's a significant
penalty for miners.

Where are you from? Note, that we do not have HK and TK proxies up for cryptonight yet, you are being directed directly to US server.

We also checked some miners (top ones with highest speed) and there are some miners with high stale issues. Since there are only some and there is no correlation between them and because some miners are completely clean (especially big ones), we assume this must be a networking issue between us and you. Also, a stale share happens when miner is "too late", which also suggests a networking issue.

What you may try is to mine on different server, EU/US.

Thank's for the response. I switched one of my miners from usa to eu and will monitor.

A networking issue could explain why all miners are affected simultaneously, however, only the cryptonight algo is affected
which suggests something specific to that algo.

I will update when the next wave of rejects occurs.

Edit: I just got a cluster 5 rejects from EU while USA stayed clean. When all miners were on USA the waves of rejects were
always in sync.

According to this big miner: https://www.nicehash.com/?p=miners&addr=1FPJJjSsfod5q3Upixje2Zn8SSUzN781aW
Everything is working fine. This miner got only tiny little rejects once (stale reason). If there was a pool issue, then every miner would be affected not only you.

You still didn't tell us where are you located? It may be, that there are issues with networking from our stratums to you.

Ontario Canada.

I haven't seen any other complaints so it may be geographically related but I don't understand how it would only
affect cryptonight, other algos never see rejects.

Could diff be a contributor? At Nicehash diif starts at 10000 and usually dops to 5000 but never lower. At another
cryptonight pool diff start at 2400 and sometimes drops further from there. I tried setting a lower diff (-p d=2000)
but the pool still reported 5000 and I still get rejects.

How run it on zec.suprnova.cc?
I use the following command:
nheqminer_x64_AVX.exe -stratum=stratum+tcp://zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -user ivan1.1 -password 123
but get connection to nicehash stratum:

Currently you'd have to use a dirty hack and edit the host file:

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

and enter:

Code:
46.105.114.185 equihash.eu.nicehash.com

This will redirect the traffic to suprnova - you have to remove that to reconnect to nicehash proxy again.

As soon as I have some time on the weekend i'll add an option to the miner
