Just finished up our report of PorcFest 2012, where we set up Bernanke's Bitcoin Exchange and preached the gospel to a thousand gun-toting libertarians in the New Hampshire wilderness. Enjoy!

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The absolute cutest moment of the whole trip:  A little girl (maybe 7 years old?) walked up to us, her father standing nearby, and she asked, with big blue eyes and curly hair, "how many FRN's is one Bitcoin?"

I wish Bernanke was there to see it. Roger gave her a Casascius coin, and her smile was epic.

It sold bitcoin: cascasciousimus (horrible name, btw) coins. I believe Roger refilled it at least 3 times.

I have applied to setup a table at the Ron Paul festival at the Tampa RNC.  I'm waiting on pricing now.  Wanna come down and setup another Bernanke Bitcoin Exchange?

I'll donate what I can to make this happen.  Oh and great work at PorcFest.  It's good to see Bernanke useful for something.

This is a supplemental addition to the Porcfest Chronicles. Eric Voorhees head up this panel to talk about Bitcoin and answer audience questions about the digital currency. Special thanks to Drew Phillips for the camera work.

This was recorded in the Queen's Tent at the 2012 Porcupine Freedom Festival.
