I'm looking for a medium-term loan - 60 days / 30% interest paid upon maturity.

Offering one or two (if there will be two lenders) premium domain names as collateral - 2-character .net domain and 3-character .com, both acquired in 2013 and registered more than 15 years ago. The average cost of each domain is $20-30k in the market - a surewin deal. Bought them via Escrow.com for more than 10k each, statements can be provided.

I keep all my domains with GoDaddy, will push them to you directly or transfer to your registrar after the money has been put in escrow.

Whatever the case, escrow is the preferred way to do business.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

A business type of thing. I'm buying some rare coins from a local seller. The loan will be paid-off once I resell part of the collection - shouldn't take long, maybe 3-4 weeks, the 60 days is the period during which the domain can't be pushed back, that's the reason the term is 60 days.

I don't sell coins on bitcointalk anymore, though having a good track record. I sell them locally because I don't want to hassle with shipping things. The key word is ESCROW. Enough said.

Just trying to keep users safe.  Even with escrow, there's plenty of potential for scams.  Not everyone is going to want a domain especially if they have no idea what to do with it.

Since it's been a while, can you send me an email from the one listed on your account (stewartj@safe-mail.net) to dogedigital@gmail.com?  I think it'd go a far away on adding credibility and prove that this is really you and not a bought account.

Can you tell us the domain names? Maybe they aren't trustworthy as you said...we have to verify that.

Premium domain is a quality collateral asset if you have some time to realize it in case of nonpayment. It can make you +100-200% easily in a couple of months. Shorter domain names are always accepted by domain brokers.

No problem, will email you later today.

I received an email from StewartJ matching the one in his profile... A very good sign that this is a legit offer.

I might be interested in this if others wanted to do join together to give a group loan.

I would rather not agree to a condition keeping the names of the domains secret. I don't see any potential harm to the value of the domain by making the fact it is being held as collateral public. Also making suck fact public allows the community to peer review any potential deal.

UPDATE!

Arranged some BTC, now need only 10 Bitcoins to reach the 30 BTC milestone.

Loan Terms: 60 days
Return: +35% upon maturity
Collateral: Attached (2-character .NET domain)

This is a surewin deal. Such domain names are priced up to $100k in the market. The actual price should be somewhere within the $5k-$20k range.

Similar domains listed with GoDaddy:

http://www.godaddy.com/domains/search.aspx?domainToCheck=2r.net

http://www.godaddy.com/domains/search.aspx?domainToCheck=2x.net

http://www.godaddy.com/domains/search.aspx?domainToCheck=rz.net

Escrow is the way to go.

StewartJ
