BritCoin was launched with true British ethics and values in mind.  Values such as honesty, integrity, accountability and innovation.  This crypto currency can be used and traded by anyone around the world (Johnny Foreigners welcome) and is not restricted to just British users, but our long term goal is to become the leading digital currency within the United Kingdom for individuals and commerce.

We are using the 1% premine (wallet address is public) will be going towards costs associated with developing new features and promotion/marketing.  We have plans to develop payment gateways for online retailers and creation of a bespoke platform for British users to buy BritCoins directly via instant bank transfer.  All of which will cost investment, which is why we require the 1% premine.  Everyone involved with BritCoin is in this for the long haul, this is not in any way another ‘pump and dump’ coin that seems to be rampant in the crypto world right now.  We are 100% committed to making this coin viable for the British general population and commerce, this is what you should expect from BritCoin and we will do our best to deliver.

We have released a July white-paper (link below) which goes into full detail our plans to grow BritCoin in the coming weeks and months.  We will be publishing a monthly white-paper with updates on our progress and futures developments and marketing plans.

In light of the recent VRC - MintPal fiasco, we can assure BritCoin adopters that there is no possibility of us compromising the sanctity of the blockchain and have a strict view on bailing out exchanges.  We believe this creates a dangerous precedent for the future of crypto currency and we firmly stand against the the notion of blockchain rollbacks.
