I recently purchased an amount of bitcoin locally through libertyX, and was able to successfully transfer my new btc into my bitcoin wallet. Now this wallet is a few months old and I have unfortunately lost my passphrase, which I honestly don't remember setting in the first place. I've tried every combination of usual passwords and things that I would likely use, to no avail. I still have on my computer a copy of Bitcoin-Qt 0.9.0, and in hearing of the Heartbleed Bug associated with it, was wondering if there would be a possibility to use the exploit to recover my password? Bruteforceing the wallet could take months or even longer, so I was trying to postulate a different method of recovery. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
