Even if he go first, codes can still be charged back. So only pay after items are already delivered and don't apply them to your main amazon account.

This is the only way when dealing with newbies. But question is if seller will agree with payment after delivery.

This is probably the only way to deal with this transaction, however it would probably be advisable to use a no-log VPN and purse to cash out the card and pay once purse releases escrow and you withdraw from purse.

IMO there is no reason why the OP would not simply use purse as it would result in him getting more btc out of his card
