Jesus, how are you guys running these websites if you don't know how Bitcoin works or how to do things like verify signatures??
Haha I was was about to say! Who would claim that they owned these coins on a public forum. ..and sounding so convincing.

Lol @ all the begging people sending 0.0001 BTC to those addresses and asking for 100+ BTC lol I saw one: "I am man from Ukraine and Russians take all my money and clothes, please donate!" \lol/ Did he ever giveout any money to someone? I have seen many addresses like this in which people keep on begging from. People were also begging from the FBI's bitcoin address that had more than 100k BTC.

Lol. People are spamming the address for promotion and begging. I just laughed reading at some of the public notes. Anyway, I'm sure the address is still active. The guy must be still holding on and waiting for the right time to sell.

Now then, what can I do for you? The first signed message did not verify, and I assume that the 2nd will not verify (however I did not check the signature). @OP - I don't know why you would think the owners of these addresses would give away money just because there are a lot of posts in a thread about their addresses. I do enjoy reading the public notes to these kinds of addresses begging for money. I would say my favorite is Public Note: Hi! My name is Preet Bharara and I'm homeless Indian junkie. I'm accepting donations to buy crack for me and my ugly wife. Please help me. Thank you.

The 1Fee address is probably an MT Gox address although there is no direct evidence, just circumstantial.
There is evidence that many of the bitcoins in the 16cou address were withdrawn from MT Gox. That address therefore is an MT Gox's customer's address.

Not really, we'd just get "Bearwhale 2: Son of Bearwhale", probably 30% immediate dip, rebounding in 24 hours then about 10% lower for a week. Dumps are a bit self limiting in that the lower they knock the price, the easier it is to buy them up.... and it's easy to spot a single entity dump, as opposed to mass selloff.
