Exaclty. In this case they also ask to send an amount to their account, so it also sounds fishy.
But best not to take part in a pump by a new company.
I liked the way another company did pumps by randomizing the coin to be pumped. At the last moment the randomizer would pick from a list of voted coins, and the pump would happen. This way not even the organizer could buy before.

Maybe author of this thread is from Mobcoin team and this is exactly what they want to do. For other people to start buying this coin so they can dump as coin doesn't look like a very successful.

Well, despite this probably being a scam. Most coins that are pumped, are low in volume. It allows for easier pumps. Imagine pumping bitcoin(with not so much money). Would be hard to, probably because people will keep selling and you will run out of the amount.
The pump doesn't face much resistance in case of these coins about to delist.
