Worst performing instrument  of this year.

Congratulations.

I will not argue with that.
I will leave that to the Bitcoin fanatics.

I will say that, that is a very interesting username.
Very true as well.

May I ask what it was that opened your eyes?

Ask the people who bought Bitcoin in 2009.
Quote
October 5   Exchange rates published by New Liberty Standard. $1 = 1,309.03 BTC

I've said enough.

After being interested in crypto and altcoins for a year i had to choose this username as most appropriate for these realms.

My eyes were opened by red candles all year. At one point a person needs to start asking questions and draw own conclusions based on the numbers.

You might have to invest bitcoins into some business.  You will gain more of them or lose some of them. By just holding you always have the same number.

This forum is a brainwashing commercial cult sometimes.

miss seeing one altcoin after the next loose 99% of value denominated in a coin which itself was the worst investement of the year? You must be kidding. I am very happy when i can cut this useless crap out of my life for good.
I am really just looking for  a bit of a bullish movement to unload my coins and will be gone then, promise.

Well in that case maybe you got in just for the £. Isn't the prospect of btc going global *properly* exciting to you?

i don't believe in it - i once did. Not now. I think it's likely going to fail if we don't see a strong increase in price and demand soon.

So, no. I'll never 'get excited' again about an investement because that's a mistake to do because it takes away your ability of critical thinking. Too many people too excited in here. Rule #1 : never get excited

so no, i'm not excited. Especially since this shitcoin is perverted anyways. It's central and normal people can't mine it now so this whole idea is a joke.

I do see the potential this whole bitcoin thing can backfire very badly.

It's not what it should or could be. And the priceactions sucks too. I want out but not at a loss.

Absolutely not excited anymore.

What if we see a strong increase in price soon? Would you still leave? How soon is soon enough for u? What would it take to get you excited again? Also, If it goes up significantly, normal people will be able to mine again.
Thing is, btc shouldn't be just an "investment", it's a lot more than that. It's a shame it's not looking good right now, trust me most of of us feel bazoonked too at the moment and maybe some would consider forgetting all about it if we had an easy out i.e. at least breaking even. Having said that, everyone is still here. But some are under a lot of pressure from partners, family, etc, for losing money. So I can totally understand how you feel.
