In days of old when knights were bold...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seal_%28emblem%29  They used to have a ring to seal letters with wax to authenticate documents.


tldr
It would be cool if someone made a ring with a bitcoin logo on it.

P.S. if you punched someone with this ring it would embed a bitcoin logo in their forehead.

lol.

So it was like a mathematically insecure version of GPG signatures Grin

I recommend asking me for a signature from my GPG key before doing a trade. I will NEVER deny such a request.
