How does I shot web?

Topic says it all really. Right now I have two rigs running with 7x 7970's, and I've been mining with EclipseMC as DGM, but I'm wondering if maybe there's a better pool out there that I could apply my 5GH/s to? I enjoy EclipseMC's perks, such as - Google Voice-compatible SMS messaging (!)
PaypalDwolla instant cash-out option- Fancy added-security authentication options
- Fairly high pool mining speed, for fairly quick block solving (and thus fairly quick payout via DGM)
Any opinions? Also, at the moment, I'm mining as DGM, but I'm wondering if with 5GH/s I should switch over to PPS or some other variant. My (likely wrong) understanding of DGM is that you're paid a set amount based on your hash rate, not so much based on the number of shares you contribute in a round.. but wouldn't that mean then that I would want to switch to as fast a pool offering DGM as possible? And I haven't done too much investigating into whether I would make more as PPS than DGM, but can anyone shed some expert opinion into this? I'm just a hardware guy at heart, trying to earn some moneys. Halp?

I think you are pretty confused about how the payout systems work https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=90662.0similar question, swap EMC for Ozcoin in that post and its your answer. you are on one of the better pools and it has a fair payout system + you like the features they offer

I'm interested in maximizing my profits, and I could care less how it happens. I would be willing to sacrifice some fun features for more profit. In general, will I earn just as much, slightly less, or slightly more money if I mine as DGM versus PPS? This is mainly what I'm concerned about. Once I know that, I can decide whether to jump to some of these promotional pools I'm seeing advertised (110%, ProjectX), or if I should go with ABCPool because their PPS fee is only 1.5% (fairly low it seems). Or does the +10% of the 110% pool outweigh that low 1.5% PPS fee of ABCPool?
I'm hoping some people with experience can point me in the right direction.

Coinsauce is pretty good, but relatively high stale rate many have found. If you can, GPUMax is gonna give you the most bang for your hash, because it sells your hashing power to people willing to pay much more than the currently ~0.000026-0.000030 rate, for whatever reason (whether pool hopping, think they'll have good luck with solo mining, willing to pay a premium for freshly-minted coins (go figure) or whatever else, perhaps just the fun factor ).

over time 0fee DGM will equal 0fee PPS so if you are paying fees on PPS DGM will pay more There are more 0fee DGM pools than 0fee PPS A lot of people seem to think the time it is over is days or hours. it is not you need to compare over a longer timeframe like months. Pay per share is just that, a flat rate paid per share. DGM payouts vary due to luck and variance. No pool pays x per ghash, all pay on shares submitted by you. Pools cannot actually know your hashrate, they make a best guess by averaging shares submitted over a time. Before signing up to a >100% mining proxy - check their downtime and stale rates, this can easily eat into the "extra" percentage you earn
I see some people trying to maximise their profits by the share or by the minute, they do a lot of extra work and often don't make significantly (or any) more.

You are already in one of those pools people recommend.
You are unlikely to make any significant amount more profit by moving to a different pool.
Most have found the most efficient middle ground slightly lowering the voltage on them, and doing the best overclock possible in that setting. They undervolt and overclock at the same time, quiet well. If you are already doing this and feel it's at it's best setting then fine.

You could point that 5GH/s at ozcoin due to the decent payouts you can get with DGM Payout (the method/pool of my choice).

I agree, ozcoin is a great pool, make sure you donate a bit so graet can live on more than packet noodles!
If you donate 5% he pays out straight after the round without the usual 120 block confirmation and pays for orphans.
kind regards
