I have 2 Antminer U2s and am trying to use them with Cgminer 4.8.0, every time I start it up, they do one share worth of work then stop, and it displays ZOMBIE where the hashrate is displayed. I've ruled out voltage being the problem, because they are both connected directly to powered USB ports on the computer. What could be the problem?

I've had this problem too.

I have eight U2s and half of them would show the same ZOMBIE status, then they would cycle through and eventually stabilize, but long term I just switched back to MultiMiner with them, since I had been using it before and it was (and still is) completely stable with them. Not sure what the issue is with CGMiner.

Done with this forum. Goodbye all.

Thanks for the MultiMiner suggestion AJinNYC. It works perfectly, I'd never heard of MultiMiner before, but now it's my main mining program for sure!
