Hi all,

Saw a post somewhere that this is the place to be to learn/expand knowledge on bitcoin. I have been trying to learn what I can just through Web searches but it will be nice to be part of a community like this.

I have bought and used bitcoin but I have been doing it pretty blindly, I would definitely consider myself a bitcoin beginner and have a ton to learn, I'm hoping to be an active member and learn and contribute where I can.

I couldn't help but notice there are always folks who swoop in with ref links and investment schemes at the first whiff of a newbie. Welcome, I was like you when I joined this forum. And after spending some days here I learnt a lot, search for any query you have and you'll see that your question was already asked and answered by others. If you still need help, don't hesitate to ask by opening a thread in the proper section. Enjoy your stay.

2. Faucets are a waste of time.

Thanks for the advice, yeah I've looked into mining a little bit and it's definitely not for me lol. And faucets lol I have better things to with my time.
