The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

there doesn't seem to be any shortage of people wanting to buy Bitcoin here, most of which appear to be offering a preimum to the market rate. If you are looking to buy Bitcoin quickly you will probably have a better chance of finding a seller if you raise your rate. Otherwise I would suggest waiting until someone advertises that they are looking to sell Bitcoin and trade with them (via escrow) before someone snipes their offer.

Your third option would be to buy from one of the many traders on here but they will probably ask for a bigger preimum (and yes you should still use escrow)
