Apologies if this has been asked -  I am new to bitcoin and I have been having great fun earning tiny amounts of bitcoins!  However I have been doing it for a few days and I have about 1/3 of a coin now - however I am unclear when microwallet will transfer the balance to my web based wallet - Do I have to stop earn coins for a number of days for them to do the transfer or will it just happen on a certain day???

Many thanks for any help here

From the microwallet website:

Automatic payments

We send the bitcoins automatically as soon as your balance reached the withdrawal limit.

https://www.microwallet.org/

It should be send to you after you reach the limit (don't know what the limit is though).

You got ~0.3 BTC after few days? That doesn't sound possible. I don't even think that 0.03 is possible

The default withdrawal limit is: 0.00005825 BTC
While the increased withdrawal limit is: 0.00100365 BTC

Hmm.. Been getting Microbitcoin from Microwallet for days and weeks.. I have not reached the increased withdrawal limit yet.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

I think you got the wrong calculation somewhere. Microwallet would pay you way before your balance reaches 0.3 BTC (1/3 of a coin as you said).

But it sounds not plausible to have gained 0.3 BTC from faucets - it is not a 'tiny' amount.

I really doubt OP that you have gained that much amount from faucets but If you're confident that your balance is over the withdrawal limit, try contacting their support. Email: info@microwallet.org

Don't bother, support is dead. The admin of Microwallet has disappeared recently, so you either get a payout or you don't.

That's a pity. I've used this service in past and it was a nice way of accumulate your tiny earnings.

Is there any good and trusted alternative to this service?

Faucetbox or Paytoshi are pretty trusted at the moment, but you can only use those with Faucets that support them. If you're getting money from Microwallet faucets, you can only withdraw using Microwallet.

Thanks. I stopped using faucets few months ago (they were a waste of time anyway). But for people still using faucets, I hope most faucets now switch from Microwallet to the services you mentioned. Otherwise people will watch plenty of ads and type CAPTCHAS for nothing.

I highly doubt it's possible to get 1/3 of a bitcoin from faucets. That's 0.33 BTC, or about $100 USD worth. Then again, there are faucets where you have a small chance of winning a larger amount so perhaps OP just got lucky.

While the site owner has been MIA since mid-November (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=123021), a person reported getting his payment from the site yesterday (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=348060.msg9992875#msg9992875) after waiting for 10 days.

Sounds impossible i think.
But if it is true, can you tell us how to get that?

There are a number of faucets which allow the user to potentially win a large amount of bitcoin with a certain degree of luck. Also, there are faucets which allow the user to gamble his or her balance in the hopes of winning a larger amount before cashing out. It is possible that the starter of this thread used one of said faucets and won 1/3 of one bitcoin. It is also possible that he or she, being new to bitcoin, does not actually have 1/3 of one bitcoin, and actually has 1/3 of a smaller unit, such as 1/3 of 1 mBTC (millibitcoin).
