what do you all think about that one .

i like the fact we can use our own gear  rent rigs once it's live or  buy cloud hash if that's your thing. I'm keeping a close eye on them may try the beta if  it's  offered to me .

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I've mining with rented rigs at mintsy for a day and it sucks. I wouldn't even call this an alpha site much less a beta test.

The mining contracts are priced ridicuously high at about 3 times what it will ever earn. Buying a mintsy mining contract should be considered buying a lottery ticket on the future price of BTC.

Give us some feedback on what you dont like about it? Being an early invite Beta there are definitley going to be issues to sort out, but without feedback hard to identify them all at the same time?

The issue with BTC mining in general right now is its not cost effective. So when the difficulty is high and the price is low the contracts can appear to be to high. On that note if the price goes up and the difficulty drops... It can be a bargain. Do you have a cheaper place you can buy Scrypt and Sha contracts? I'd like to know? I'd also like to point out is they will be trade-able which in a sense will help on the ROI.

I have to tell you my experience with mintsy.co to all forum... very bad, pure scam!

I bought a contract:

Duration: 6 Month (s)
Hashrate: 2.5 Th / s
Price: $ 949.00

And, in the six months ... received only $ 260.96

Do not invest in Mintsy.co, pure scam, scam, scam, scam, scam, scam...

Agreed, total scam, my contracts went inactive once I started spending a bit more with them and they're still advertising for more clients. That's called a SCAM! Oh and good luck getting a refund, I was told they don't provide refunds.

Mintsy is a total SCAM
I bought a 6 month 10 MH/s scrypt contract back in July it was hashing at above the stated 10 MH/s for the first couple of days.
Back in early July there was profit to be made in scrypt even at their prices so I bought another contract. Same thing hashing GREAT for a couple a days.
I figured I could make a little profit since at the time LTC was looking great. So I ended up with a total of 4 6 months contracts. After a week of good hashing it all fell apart, no or slow response from support, with promises and excuses from support. Then support just started closing tickets as fast as I could open them.
I could not get anything from them no hashing all of my worker went inactive, I could NOT mine my own pools. It is just a plain rip off,
I tried emailing requests for refunds and even tried to call the number listed for them WHAT A JOKE!!!!!
MINTSY OWES ME OVER $400 AND REFUSES TO REFUND ME!!!!

Do not bother with them unless yu want to be scammed out of money and also be out of pocket until they do refunds.

If you want to see what is currently going on with them and where things are at you can check this thread and some f the posts and responses I have been getting from support and what might happen or may not happen.

Right now are meant to be moving to new location and to be honest with the time taken you could of moved 10x around and be up and running. They aren't doing anything by the looks of it only prolonging and no doubt no refunds are going to happen. I will b surprised if I actually get one.
