bitcoin or USD without hassle or fees (like trading 4 quarters at a bank for a $1 bIll)
cigarettes
gas from gas station
energy drinks
computer hardware on newegg or equivelant
ebay/paypal services
Walmart prepay cards or anything useful prepay cards with equal LTC to USD amounts
VPN services
Utility bills
online purchase of government bonds
penny stocks that encompass more than p2p coin services
the prospect of buying illegal goods online securely (if I was so inclined)

DO this for me Litecoin, and I'll be asking my employer to pay me in Litecoin instead of cash.

Not technically a purchase I suppose, but something similar to hash king's bitcoin deposits/all the others, mining bonds, and services similar to pyramining.

Can we buy Bitcoins?

Yup that's probably the first thing you could do with it. Exchange exists already

Not really something to "buy" but I'd like to be able to invest them in some way.

See if you can get an Open Transactions client running. #opentransactions channel on freenode IRC can help with that. If you can, then all the assets on my Open Transactions server will become available to you since it treats Litecoin no differently than any other asset, you can use any asset to buy any other asset, basically. So there is no special favoured asset in which everything else is priced.

DRUGS.

Silk Road for LTC is the only thing that can make GPU mining the LTC chain sustainable after every GPU switches off due to BFL ASIC.
