hey guy

I have a remote laptop running 8.1 windows. I am looking for a way to close the laptop but still allow me to run/key in remotely.

I changed the preference when the lid is closed to "do nothing" but unfortunately while the computer still does let me tie in, it will not let me open programs. So it acts frozen until the lid is opened and everything opens at once. Please advise. I am looking for simple solution that will still allow me windows. Thanks.

If your BIOS supports WOL than you could use it.
