Personally I would wait.  I feel like it will drop to at least 250 in the next month.  Many of people here feel the same but others do not.  In the long term it will be an investment anyway and the payout will rock it we get to that ball of dirt in space we call the moon.

I wouldn't wait and play for a few dollars on a downside when this puppy is looking upwards. This a buy and hold period for bitcoin but an even more volatile sideshow for litecoin. Keep your stash where it is but leave 5% or so to play the next litecoin wave up. That's right I said it.

If a friend would ask me, if now is a good time to buy, I would tell him to buy now half of the amount he has in mind. With the other half he should wait a little and see how the price moves.

I think that would be an honest advise, because there is still a possibility of a flash cradh below 200$.

Remember, the crash in the beginning of the year happened with zero news in the background. Just crazy free market rollercoaster.

For any long term investor 100, 200 or 300 or 500.. it's all the same. If you are going to hold 10 years as you should, then who cares. Any day outside the BTC train = big risk to miss moon tickets.

But wouldn't it be great if you buy low and sell high? I think lorylore is trying to gain profit with bitcoins by buying low and selling high. It's 278 today and it would be great if he could profit when it hits 300
