I just got introduced to the world of bitcoins and I have no idea how and where to start. I've tried a handful of websites that give you a mBTC every day but it seems like at that rate it would take years to build up a decent wallet. Would anyone be kind enough to donate a bitcoin or two to a begginer, just to play around with and build off of? Thanks in advance Smiley

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

See for some bitcents: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=90879.0

No one's going to hand out coins free; go mine for them or buy them at an exchange site.

www.freedigitalmoney.com is a good site to earn a few free coins by watching ads, taking surveys, and signing up for offers -- won't get you rich, but a decent way to earn a bit of coin without too much effort.

You arent likely to find somebody that is going to give you free coin..

Consider auctioning some unwanted things on bitmit, that should get you started.
