Newbie looking for some assistance

I just got introduced to the world of bitcoins and I have no idea how and where to start. I've tried a handful of websites that give you a mBTC every day but it seems like at that rate it would take years to build up a decent wallet. Would anyone be kind enough to donate a bitcoin or two to a begginer, just to play around with and build off of? Thanks in advance

www.freedigitalmoney.com is a good site to earn a few free coins by watching ads, taking surveys, and signing up for offers -- won't get you rich, but a decent way to earn a bit of coin without too much effort.

Consider auctioning some unwanted things on bitmit, that should get you started.
