Steal My Bitcoin Wallet & Rob Me Blind!

So, you're a Bitcoin sceptic. You wouldn't turn your life savings into some magic internet money anyone can steal. Well, I did. My life savings are safely stored in my bitcoin wallet. Call me crazy, but I even uploaded my wallet file here, so everyone can download and check how much money I have. You can have a copy of my wallet.dat file, but I am not giving out my encryption password.

Whats wrong with the site? I am sure his password is incredibly long so essentially acts like a brain wallet.

He turned his wallet into a brain wallet now ... then why he still needs wallet.dat? Key stretching a brain wallet phrase should be enough if he thinks his phrase isn't crackable.

If done right, not risky at all. That is the whole point of the site, to show others that cryptography can secure wallets.

He has had his wallet.dat for almost 1 year and plenty of "hackers" have downloaded it.

wallet.dat honeypot would be cool. A little surprise for thieves and hackers.

Awesome idea! This is great. I bet you'll get even more BTC by doing this. This could really become one of the big advertisements for Bitcoin. I really like it a lot. Did you use a sufficiently random and complex encryption password? I just hope so!

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...
