The Battery is on a normal charge cycle however as a reminder High Bitrate music consumes a lot of energy with the trade off being the Hi-Fidelity Music. Needless to say the battery lasts on a full and half album (~20-25 4 Minute tracks) at 192/24 kHz. With Lower bitrates the battery charge will last longer. As a pro tip I have been using an external battery to increase the Pocket Hi-Fi battery for longer playback. I have only own for about 5 months and was in smoke free environment and adult owned.
