I can forgive all those that did not bump my Alan Turning thread when he passed, but there will be no excuses accepted if the same results transpires here.

Today, Any Griffith passed away at the age of 86. Here is a link to a website showing a Timeline: http://www.wsoctv.com/news/news/local/timeline-andy-griffth/nPkw5/

You homophobic bastard! You really wanted to say Jim Nabors, didn't you? Now go splash some cold water on your face and get back into your capsule.

I liked Jim Neighbors.  Not as a singer or diddler, but as an actor.

This is so fucked up! I have Google News as my homepage, and that's why when I saw Andy Griffith trending at the #2 spot, instinctively I knew it wasn't because he was caught banging an 18-year-old girl (or boy). Upon clicking the link, my biggest fear was realized. Later in the day, he moved down toward the bottom of the thrending list. All the while, Anderson Cooper was climbing. I clicked Andy Griffith's name a couple times, but did not take the time yet to click AC's name to see why he was trending. Now Anderson Cooper is at the top of the list and Andy Griffith is no longer on my trending list. So I clicked his name to see what is up. OMFG! He came out of the closet. All I need to read now is Jim Nabors espousing in a couple paragraphs congratulating Anderson Cooper for being so brave and at the same time dedicating only a sentence to express the lost of Andy Griffith.

My apologies to Rassah, Bruce, et al., but I needed to rant on this one. It's not about Andy or Anderson, but more about Google on what it feels it thinks I want to read. BTW, 50cent was on the trending list, as well, (don't know why) but I'm sure that Andy Griffith could have stayed up a tad longer.
