It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Escrow for Ponzi?

=======================================================

Error: Term mismatch: "escrow" and "Ponzi".

=======================================================

Actually, there is nothing wrong with using escrow for a ponzi, especially when the operator is a new user. Most ponzis are considered scams because they disguise themselves as a HYIP with "legitimate" ways of making profit and run off with investor funds. In this case, neither of these things are issues. The OP openly admits that it is a ponzi, so investors are not deceived into thinking it is a risk free investment, and the funds will be escrowed, meaning the ponzi operator can't run away with them.

i am not a new user and actually have a coin ill put my real btc in escrow
[/quote]

He wants to escrow his signature campain, not the ponzi. Escrowing the ponzi would be pointless, running away with the funds is how the owner makes money.

no the escrow terms are ponzi ends in 24 hrs or when we cant pay the investor

Ah, I got the impression from this thread that he was looking to escrow the entire thing, not just the signature campaign. The post is rather incoherent though, so perhaps you are right.

Why do you say this? More people will invest in an escrowed ponzi, since they know the operator can't run off with their coins, and the operator profits as a result of the higher volume (assuming they take a fee from every round). Obviously, most ponzi operators don't intend to be legitimate, but keeping the funds in the hands of a trusted escrow is the most profitable way to do so.
