But who's that guy with the 46000 Coins?? - See the richlist!
Is this a burning adress?
Or is it a a lucky guy wating to dump?  Undecided

that's cryptsy coldstorage. I think most what's in one account should be  around 10k.
All those coins have been mined for or even more likely bought at the market since there's no premine and no other bounties.

We constantly tell people to not store coins at the exchange but some just don't listen.  Roll Eyes

Another useless altcoin, move on.

so bitcoin is useless too?
After all Uno is a better store of value than the big ones. I been in uno since last summer and i'm pretty happy with it. It's on a nice longterm rise.

so only 250.000 coins? if no inflation its good for investment

you won't see the maximum reached in your lifetime. It's 193k now and i think at 200k or something around that minimum subsidy takes place wich means inflation will be extremely tiny. (Maybe we see 205k or 210k mined in our lifetimes, need to do the exact numbers yourselves)

No. Bitcoin was not designed as a store of value.
It's your opinion that it is good, that's subjective.

Speaking of Sha256 coins to mine, not sure if anyone is paying attention but after a year of nasty fud it looks like Mazacoin is back on track towards achieving its eventual goal of becoming the 1st official nation's crypto currency. There is going to be alot of butthurt cynics who missed the train when the tribe finally moves away from exploratory phase to full-scale adoption, there is a new President and Council who are more receptive to crypto and new revenue explorations now.

loool!! This is great news for everyone who is holding bitcoin longterm (not). Now go over to general section and tell the bitcoiners that, especially those who are constantly comparing it to gold.

So you are admitting bitcoin was never intended to be and can't be a store of value and at the same time you say Uno would be useless. Sorry, you don't make a great deal of sense.

How do you expect a currency to be used if you threat it as a store of value?
Sigh.

it's a commodity not a currency. It's good to store value. It's as close as it gets to digital gold. If you don't see the sense in it i can't help you.
There are people out there who don't want to spend all their money as fast as possible because of the inflation - these people will choose Uno to store their value and protect it from inflation.

It's a commodity not a currency - although you can use it as currency of course same as you can use gold as currency.

Not using Bitcoin hurts the whole system. Deep discussions were led in the Bitcoin related forums. Read about it.
No altcoin is worth anything, it's just an illusion.

that's your opinion.
Can you link your "deep discussions"?

So people can't store value in crypto at all because only bitcoin is 'real' and that wasn't designed as a store of value? Is that what you are saying?
This would surprise a lot of people.

No altcoin is worth anything, it's just an illusion.

Can you explain why bitcoin is not an illusion while you claim Litecoin, Dogecoin, Uno, QRK, PPC, drk, etc would be one?
What makes bitcoin no illusion which at the same time does make alts one?
Wouldn't this mean alts are in general without sense?
Do you think people would want to use bitcoin if there wasn't a choice to it?

I think your viewpoint needs an update.
If you were right you could expect crypto to not exist 3 years from now as there would be no sense in developement and an evolving process.
We could also abandon the word "cryptocurrency" as it would make no sense because in reality it is only "bitcoin".

You say "cryptocurrency" is a myth and only "bitcoin" exists?

Is ripple an illusion too? Nxt too? Maidsafe is also an illusion? And ethereum will also be an illusion as only bitcoin is 'real'?

Sounds like BS to me. And that claim stands there pretty detached from anything. Just a claim and nothing to back it up so far.

Count all merchants that accept any altcoin. Compare number to merchants that accept Bitcoin.
Those are coins that want to classify themselves as Bitcoin 2.0, even when we don't have Bitcoin 1.0. I wouldn't touch those tainted things.

Your arguments have been stomped. End of story.

~Lauda out.

I can purchase items at an increasing number of merchants with many different alts.
I can get gold and silver bullion directly in exchange for my uno in numerous places.

Have a nice day.

~Lauda.

consumers hate dealing in fractions. That's the biggest flaw of BTC.

You want to buy 1 soda..you have to use calculator to figure out how many BTC you need.

You can pay with something like Nubits and no fraction is required because $1=1 nubits  Grin

merchant adoption isn't even such an important thing for a commodity. Does your local supermarkt accept goldbars for payment? Does gold have no value because walmart doesn't take it as payment?
