Bitcoin faucet are not profitable at all

it is ok if you want to get some satoshis to learn to manage bitcoin wallet, but it does not worth your time if you want to get money

Yeah, I'm probably not going to go with the bitcoin faucets route for now.

The title pretty much says it all, but to clarify, is there a faucet/giveaway that rewards with very little effort (Something like referrals are going to take a long time)?

If so, can you direct me to it? I'm still kind of new to the entire faucet/giveaway thing, and most of the sites seem shady to me.

Thanks.
The  faucet is just wasting your time.
It's so few you even can't finish a transaction.
The minimum transaction fee is 0.0001BTC, but the  faucet only give you less than 0.000001 one hour.
So you have to collect more than 100 times to pay the minimum transaction fee.

100 satoshis/h is not much.. theres a lot of faucets with 100 sats/minute rewards..and even more

Minipal payout is really easy to reach if you use sites like faucetbox

This. And if you use something like this faucet rotator, you can collect even faster. It will take you to the highest paying faucets first and rotates them so you don't have to keep visiting other sites or remembering when cooldowns end.

May I get an explanation on how faucet rotators work?

The best place to look is this thread. I did a full write-up of what it does, how it works, how it's organized, how to contribute, etc.

I found along time ago that the Bitcoin faucets lately have a lot of spam, flashy ads, and other junk.  Along with the fact that the pay out very little, and seem to not put much care into their pages i no longer use them.

Have a look at this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=919667.0

there are only 2 types of Bitcoin faucets:
1. Bad Faucets
2. Worse Faucets

There are no good faucets.
All faucets pay you just pennies for filling out CAPTCHAS. The amount of time you spend doing that is not worth it. Even if you do some laborious day job that pays you minimum wage, you will earn more in your real job than those faucets.

I can't answer on how much any faucets earn, but what I will say is that the vast majority of them lose money. Running a faucet isn't profitable on its own, it should be used as a marketing method for earning on other areas of a site. Basically it's a way of driving consistent legitimate traffic. With that said, there are a couple that used to pull in $10k+ a month in profit.

As always, there will be outliers.

This depends on the number of clicks. The important thing to understand with faucets is that they are seen as being a content-less site. Many faucets have been banned from AdSense. And even if you aren't, you can be banned when it's time to be paid. So generally speaking, I'd suggest relying on other ad networks.

You can definitely make some money from them with marketing and such, as long as you're getting ad clicks.

I wouldn't rely on them being super profitable, though, and look more for either a slight profit or a break-even. They are just too risky.

As a heads-up, though, if you start one up (or anyone else), feel free to toss me a PM and I can add it to the rotation.

Smiley if I cant make any money with same traffic like freebitco.in it doesnt make sense to open a faucet IMO so I cant add my faucet that I will not do to your rotator Smiley

A site like freebitco.in is a bit different from most faucets (read: more profitable) because it has a game attached to it. This reduces the amount they pay out.

But again, it all depends on the clicks. If you designed a faucet that was really user friendly, as opposed to what we currently deal with which is just a page filled with ads, you'd have a greater chance of success. It's a business. Most faucet owners just don't know what they're doing.

if it depends on the clicks I dont see big chances for faucets to get clicks. and even they get clicks they arent worth a penny for the advertisers IMO. I could tell my visitors to click any ad they like before they get any satoshis, but this is not allowed.

I fully agree with you saying that most faucet owners just dont know what they are doing. I am a noob regarding faucets and coding but I have an idea and I know I will get tons of visitors but ifI cant earn a bit it doesnt make sense to create the faucet. I dont want to get rich with it, I just want to proof that my idea is working Smiley

If you have an idea and it's unique, roll with it. Most business owners fail 90%+ of the time even when they have "the next biggest thing," so failure shouldn't be seen as an issue. Go for it. If it works it works. If it doesn't it doesn't. It's better to try and fail than to not try at all and never know what could have been, Smiley.
