Hi everyone,

Is it possible to put together different gpus?

I tried putting my 6990 and 460 together today, but it didn't work. The miner opened and closed before I could read anything.
I was going to buy a 5850 because I thought I could mine it with mt 6990...but if I can't...

Mixing ATI and Nvidia is kinda of a hassle to get stable, ATI cards work perfectly fine with each other tho.

happen on pre-750/980/8100 nForce mobos and pre-770 AMD mobos and later with outdated/buggy firmware[try update BIOS].

Use linux, then you'll be able to read what's happening.
