This is far from the 20 days standby time promised. Any ideas suggestions ?

So the wallet is just can use in November 2015? i guess the app is active at the same.

I was really interested in this project but now not so sure anymore. The fact that they actually shipped the wallets knowing that their software was not ready and that it would not be ready for about 2 months is not good. This was not mentioned anywhere and the least they could do was to either hold back the shipments and or inform all clients about this fact.

Also very worrying is the fact that you mention that you cannot touch base with anybody at their support. Makes you wonder what the support will be like once this wallet ships in larger numbers. I'm also concerned about the short battery life. From what you are saying I assume that this wallet will only be good for say two or three transactions a day or in between charges. If this is the case then it would be pretty useless to me.

Will keep a lookout for more updates but don't think i will be getting one of these anymore.

I was able to touch base with them here on the bitocintalk.org.
What can I say, the fact there was no mention on software release is a BIG MINUS . But they get a PLUS because is a new toy

Hi,

Could you please try charging the battery for three hours, and then see how long it lasts?

In our tests, after fully charged,

1. Turn on/off a few times a day, without connecting to the phone, the battery can last more than two weeks.

2. Signing transactions(sending bitcoins) four times a day, the battery lasts more than 10 days. (we are still testing and will be able to improve this with app update)


One friendly reminder:
The image in your post on 11, Sep, where you put the card on the charger, shows the card is placed in the inaccurate position for charging.
The ideal position is as suggested in the paper-manual, from the box, and as the image below:

Although you had a bit of a rough start (and I haven't seen reviews) I'm still pretty curious of what comes out of this... You seem to be updating your iOS app, and other options for iOS are more expensive at the moment... I'd love to try and review this wallet. let's see what happens in March

Nice design indeed , but Trezor has moved another step with the upcoming hack event at Prague,
i dont mind the cost since it will be carrying my bitcoin, my top priority is the security and not the cost, better safe than sorry right ?

CoolWallet still sold out and no updates. Trezor and Ledger are still your best choices. If you want to store Ether as well as Bitcoin the Ledger Nano S ships the end of this month.

If you have to have cold storage for an iPhone or iPad Bitlox has an app. A little expensive at $199 though.
