I'm gonna wait for update. Keep my beans on the trading website because thats really safe these days.lol

All you have to do is copy the config text on the first page of this thread into a text file and save as file type "all". Name the file BitBean.conf and place in your 'Roaming' folder. To find your Roaming folder do a search for %appdata% with the % signs in there in windows search.

Stake on,
J

Got it.. Do I have to keep the wallet open to stake.. or just have the coins in there.  I only ask because I know with the wallets they sometimes make my internet/ computer in general act funky at times. thanks

You get a reward when you find a block not % interest. So you would need to have your wallet open when your coins are mature so it can try to find a block.

If you leave you wallet open long enough it will stake. The coinage/weight increases with each passing block so you chances of solving the block get greater with each passing block.

It depends more on the amount of coins you are staking.

How long should it take for the wallet to sync? I have had it running for hours and it doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. I seem to be maxing out around 16 connection, does that seem about right?

I have done that. I wouldn't be getting any connections, otherwise. I have tried multiple .conf files found here in this thread, making sure to delete my peer.dat between each. I am using the list of nodes you just provided now, still no dice. I am still getting a maximum of 16 connections, and syncing is going nowhere fast. I am running linux by the way, although that shouldn't really be relevant.

Well, then I really don't know, I never had that problems with syncing !
Something is blocking you, it's up to your PC I think if you have 16 connections so your wallet is connected...well sorry, I don't know !!
