I am going to buy a server anonymously using the method described here. I'm picking slicehost or linode, because I want full control of my server. I use slicehost for my current server, but I'm seeing a lot of people using linode. What do you think I should use and why?

A server should always be chosen to meet the requirements of the service it will be offering.

I have nothing specific planned. I just want a general-purpose anonymous server.

Going with linode.

Please report back on the service quality and on the anonymity.
