Hello Everyone ,
Bitstamp have temporarily suspended their services .
Cause : some of Bitstamp’s operational wallets were compromised, resulting in a loss of less than 19,000 BTC

I think that is a negative on bitstamp not bitcoin , all bitstamp customers wallet were locked untill solve this problem
That will create new supply in other exchanges sites from bitstamp users, price drops  and will increase BTC price .
Today we can see that bitcoin price start increase .

- Can Bitcoin loss Confidence today cause bitstamp wallet lost ?
- what did you think if bitstamp solve the problem how much bitcoin price will dop ?

All respect ,
Bitcoin Boy.

Of course to us it is a negative on the service of bitstamp, but to outsiders they may see it as another worrying thing about bitcoin and yet another major theft from an exchange and consequently people may think it's bitcoin that isn't secure as opposed to specific services supporting it being flawed.

IT seems like bitstamp has a very small, immaterial, share of the market.

Outside world and the average joe always blame Bitcoin for the incompetence of some exchanges and services.

The media is programmed to air bad news when it comes to Bitcoin. Good news is barely being covered.

it definitely has an influence and not a positive one. Everytime shit like this goes down Bitcoin gets hit. People is prone to get scared, price is 260 ish at this point, we were talking about 280 being bottom the other day..
