And to give credit where credit is due Dogecoin has had amazing support from before launch that has dominated sites like Reddit, why...That's beyond me, but it has and continues to do so.
Too many coins constantly being created forever will eventually drive the price into the ground, the hype will wear out and core fundamentals will prevail as usual.
There will be something new on the HYPE, maybe try and catch that boat, just don't be the behind the last person to get into the lifeboat when it capsizes too.

When bitcoin was less than 10$, I was spending them.
When price reached 1000$, I was shocked.

The only reason for doge to rise in the first place was when people were crazy for it. Recently, I dont see any new updates
or any of its followers going crazy over it, so I personally think it will decrease in value. But I maybe wrong.

Bitcoin/Dogecoin cross-chain transactions

The new altcoins have been hogging all the fun new toys, and it's time we showed you can teach an old(ish) doge new tricks... CATE (Cross-chain Atomic Trading Engine) is a bridging application that sits between any two Bitcoin Core 0.9+ derived clients (although only tested with Bitcoin and Dogecoin so far) and enables transactions between the two blockchains.

Testing is ongoing, and right now it's really only intended for developer use/experiments, but the basics all work, and you can see the code right now at https://github.com/rnicoll/cate Immediate priorities are improved documentation, further testing (especially AuxPoW blocks), producing a specific intermediary library to add altcoin support to python-bitcoinlib (instead of just using a fork of that library), and giving it a half-decent UI, but the code's far enough along for others to start poking at it now. Well most of the people I meet in the real world, only know of bitcoin and dogecoin, so I definitely think that is one reason for it to have some worth.

I think price will raise. Even a little bit. A price over 1$ per unit would be awesome.
Anyway, we have other great coins to invest into, like litecoin,ppc.

"Block reward halvings tend to be pretty hectic times. The supply of Dogecoin being mined is cut in half — meaning the Dogecoin economy will only be seeing 180 million new coins everyday versus the current 360 million new coins. In theory, this should also ease the massive selling pressure caused by multi-pools dumping Dogecoin for BTC. With 50% less dumping occurring, the price will have an easier time either stabilizing or increasing.

What are the implications of this?

The implications of this are mostly unknown. Nothing is certain when it comes to cryptocurrencies; however, we can speculate and make some educated guesses. Assuming the demand for Dogecoin remains the same, it makes sense to expect the price to go up since the supply will be drastically reduced. Dogecoin is very abundant right now. Anyone can get their hands on some rather easily either for free or without much of an investment. Psychologically, I think this upcoming halving will also strike cryptocurrency investors with the fear of scarcity and provoke some buying."

I don't know if 1$ per unit is realistic.

In my opinion it is more probable for Dogecoin to gain half of bitcoin market cap, than for bitcoin to show the same amount of growth in the same period of time.

1$ per unit would give it a market cap of $97,396,922,074

People are not sure if Bitcoin can get a $97 billion market cap, never mind Doge. I don't think it's realistic Doge could be worth that much in the foreseeable future.
