The Business Insider article doesn't at all claim that exchanges will be shutdown, it only calls out that Bitcoin's anonymity enables criminals to move funds without detection. I don't think exchanges would go away in the US, however the US Gov could required US based exchanges to require accounts and information collected about anyone who uses the exchange, which would allow the Gov to get some information about users.

It's not the funding that's causing terrorism it's the brainwashing done by so called religious groups. The medium they use to transfer funds is not to be blamed.

If one country funded terrorism. It was America. There is no Bitcoin needed, governments in Arabic countries get funded by America, and years later dethroned if they are a risk to our oil economy. Bin Laden etc. We're all funded. Not a conspiracy just basic history and facts.

This just in: 99.9999999999999999% of all crime so far was not funded using Bitcoin.
