The only way the lender can verify the collateral is by using it.  Therefore he can't return it to you.

You are looking to buy bitcoin, not borrow it.

My apologies,
I was under the impression that one was able to check the balance of an iTunes gift card on the apple website; however, a quick google search tells me that's only possible for apple gift cards which I was previously unaware.  In that case I'd be happy to trade the .2 BTC for the $100 gift card if someone wishes(no need for it) or otherwise I'll simply close this thread.

Do you have any proof that it is legit and not carded. 45$ seems like a good price for a 100$ itunes card.
