I'm selling most of what used to be Rig 2...

Up for sale are the following:

Video Cards:
1x Reference ATI 5970 - Sold to ssateneth for $250
1x Reference ASUS 5970 - Sold to ssateneth for $250
1x ASUS 5870 Matrix - Payment plan with ChanceCoats123 for $130

I also have one additional Reference ASUS 5970 that started throwing artifacts and crashing the system; it was still under warranty, so I filled out an RMA request. If you would like to purchase it, give me an offer.

All of these cards have been run with clean, filtered air, and never ran over 70C.

The 5970s ran between 815 and 850 MHz on stock voltage.
The 5870 runs 950 MHz at 1.1V (Undervolted).

Other things for sale:

1x Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard - Sold to miaviator/gnar1ta$ for $120
1x AMD Athlon II X3 Rana 445 3.1 GHz CPU - Sold to eroxors for $40
4x Cablesarus Powered PCI-E x16 Riser Cables - Pending to Leezyist
1x Kingston SSDNow 16GB SSD - Sold to miaviator/gnar1ta$ for $25

Pics to follow. Please make me an offer on anything listed.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

$225 for each 5970, or the entire group?

I'm not selling a MSI board...

PM me for shipping info on the SSD.

It would be nice if I could read and type today.

$225 each, my apologies on the msi vs gigabyte. Will pm you.

I'd also offer $250 shipped per 5970, and $120 shipped per 5870 to 54501, USA. Little tight on funds right now though since mtgox is taking ages to transfer to dwolla. Won't immediately resell if it makes a difference, I plan on using them.

ssateneth for $120

Got about $130 USD in limbo with mtgox > dwolla which -should- clear in a day or 3, and another $240 that I initiated to dwolla on the 7th. A lot of miners I imagine have a dwolla account if they sell the coins they mine (Pretty much what I do, sell almost immediately). Do you accept Dwolla? Otherwise I'll have to buy coins and send those instead since I mine about 2.27 coins/day on average and I imagine that'll be pretty slow.

Also is using one of the free forum escrows ok? I've had bad experiences with scammers here and I'm a little paranoid.

I'll accept Dwolla, Paypal, or Bitcoins.

Chance offered me $140 the the 5870, so I'll let that go to him unless you want to offer more.

Escrow is alright, whom did you have in mind?

I'm out on the 5870. Still highly interested in the 5970's. Like I said, I have money coming into dwolla from mtgox, and mtgox is backed up but processing slowly. I can pull some money from my bank account for 1 5970, but the second 5970 would require waiting for the $230 to clear to dwolla, which may take 2-3 weeks. If you find a better buyer between then and now, I won't blame you if you take their offer(s) instead.

I'm looking into an escrow for Dwolla atm (I don't want to gyp you with a big fat paypal fee), unless there is someone trusted that can vouch for you, in which I can avoid the escrow altogether. If all else fails, I'll just send the funds from dwolla, when they clear, back to mtgox, buy coins at market, and send them to escrow/you.

I apologize if it's one big clusterfuck. I mine to put money in my personal bank account, so I don't hold funds/coins in 1 place very long, aside from the stupid mtgox > dwolla transfer time.

I'm leaning more toward selling to ssateneth, just because it means easier shipping for me. I'll PM you payment details in a couple hours if you're no one else outbids you.

That's fine.  I don't like buying stuff to resell on eBay, anyway.  If you stuck them up there with a $300 buy-it-now they'd sell within 12 hours, no problem... although with the fees you pay, that's only about $260.  I'd probably try 48 hours or so at $350 buy-it-now, then just start an auction with min bid of $300 if that fails.

But, like ssateneth, it'd take me a while to get the money together, since I just sent $250 to rjk.

Oh, I mailed Gox support and had them cancel all my pending mtgox->dwolla transactions to get the money faster.

Hmm, didn't think of that. I'll email them and see what happens.

FWIW, I had imsaguy in mind since I saw he was in the btc lending business and he and I frequent each other a lot on eligius's IRC chat, so I trust him. Unfortunately he wasn't willing to "experiment" with a dwolla escrow. He'd be more than willing with a BTC escrow though.

I had three pending... someone named 'Gene' responded within an hour.  =p

Now, if I had been complaining about the slowness... that'd probably take days to get a response

Sorry for the slightly off topic, but to any of you feeling the pain of Gox/Dwolla, if you are in the US I would strongly recommend Bitfloor - $0 ACH withdrawals directly to your bank account (3-5 days), and $0 same day cash deposits from any Chase bank.

So, Chance backed out of the 5870, so it's up for grabs again, ssateneth, if you want it again, you can have it for the $120.

If anyone wants to recommend me, it would be nice to skip escrow; otherwise, I'll contact imsaguy later in the day and start to work things out.

Gene of MtGox was able to cancel my Dwolla transactions almost immediately, so I have BTC now.

Don't have enough money for all 3 cards though. I'm pretty set on the 2 5970's. I was ecstatic when I saw "Pending to Ssateneth" on the first post. Anyways, got enough BTC for one 5970 (current mtgox market @ 6.86. $250 USD / 6.86 = 36.44 BTC). I'm working on the rest, but funds right now are extremely tight. The remaining money is currently on its way from bank to dwolla (where then it will go from dwolla to mtgox to get more coins)

Edit: PM'd personal info and stuff. Also decided to forgo the escrow. You seem to have a lot of legitimate business on the forums from what I can tell as well as happy buyers.
edit2: 36.4BTC sent for 1 5970. Transaction ID 750f6a70bf0fcf356b1478226ef8da42b0f70c45a655203554796028adc444b0

The OP graciously put me on a layaway-esque deal. Here is the first of 2 transactions:

Paid 34.7BTC for the second 5970. Transaction ID ccd64ebd4e22ed01f68ca55b19c55e9f8e9d654407cbaabfe234dc5cb4182f8e

Edit: Received both 5970's in the mail today. So far, cores are peaking at 680, 690, 720, and 745 @ 0.95v. Need the mounting brackets though. Seller said he will send them out, presumably at no charge to me Smiley
e2: I didn't realize how WOOOOOOOSH those blowers can put out. I cranked them up, and it's like a hair dryer. I might need to tear apart my frankensteins to figure out how to secure the cards without a mounting bracket.. Didn't realize how restrictive those buggers are.

Also, I'd love to say I'm interested in 5970 #3, but i'm obviously strapped for cash and cant afford upgrades for a while.
