The organizers of a large-scale project to make bitcoin available over the counter at thousands of Taiwanese convenience stores have spoken about the efforts it took to bring their plan to fruition.

Hope it was worth it for them, but they did something like this is some countries already including the UK and nobody used it. Guess there's not that much demand for it at the moment but hopefully the infrastructure is there in the future when hopefully it gets more popular.

At least, it was a great learning experience for them to build this out. Bitcoin is very individual oriented, so people will have to take initiative for it to catch on in a convincing manner.
