Hello, The VPS is a new product of : CrownCloud ( http://crowncloud.net) You can "reserve" a VPS now by placing a order here, we wont take any payment now, payment will be taken only when we're launching the VPS's. The VPS's come in limited stock for each plan and "reserving" a spot now will be useful if you want to get a high quality VPS What If I change my mind ?Sure, No problems, the VPS which you "reserved" will be given to someone else who also "reserved" one. Hey,
Prices will reduce with increase in BTC / USD price.
That still won't make them competitive on a USD basis. It will make them worse, in fact, especially if you've bought a long term contract in BTC. Torrent node = Yes, As long as it does not affect network, is legal and brings us no trouble.
Bitcoin node = Yes, As long as it does not hammer the Disk too much.
Tor = No (Just for safety reasons / may allow later)
In other words : you have zero competitive edge. |

We could look into offering more resources with the current pricing. More bandwidth and harddisk storage and a few extras like offsite backup storage.
Apart from that the other things like tor/torrents are to be decided by the data
center and afaik tor is not allowed by the datacenter.

Look, not trying to give you a headache here,just trying to figure out in what way your offering is different from the gazillion VPS resellers out there. Why is buying a VPS with you using bitcoins in any way better than buying a VPS from a random provider and paying with my credit card ? |
