Ulbricht has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His trial is scheduled to begin in January 2015. “It’s being alleged as a worldwide enterprise with folks everywhere, and the quantities that are alleged are huge,” U.S. District Judge Katherine B. Forrest

Wow not guilty plead, this will be epic to find out what happens but it must be tough for his family, hoping for justice for Ross.

Not to mention the judge has been stacking the deck against Ross' defense team by withholding certain pieces of evidence and witnesses against him. If the case indeed is spread across the world in such a fashion then this could be one hell of a story that draws much of the world's attention toward bitcoin.

They say there isn't such a thing as "bad publicity", but I guess bitcoin making front page for the first time through an illegal activities related website wouldn't be the best :/
