I think self moderation should be made default on all threads , the amount of idiotic posts here requires an op to actively delete them if any actual information is going to be disseminated. I am not saying i support scams, just that the rise in bitter trolls == rise in self-moderated threads

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

The pros outweight the cons. Either we get lots of shitposts but all of it is transparent and nothing hidden in non self-moderate threads, or there is always the option the OP is just removing posts contradicting the thread.
