I sold some, I bought some and I hodl the rest. Bitcoin needs all of these and I'm supplying it. Grin

Always keep some fiat powder dry to buy when it drops, my next buy orders are sitting around $200. I can't help but love the drama and emotions these drops are causing. People who really believe they can become rich here need a lesson in humility and Bitcoin is surely teaching it. Cheesy

Actually you can still become rich on bitcoin one day, you just have to invest enough to get there.  Most people don't have enough balls to take the risk.

For example, in 2012 a risk-adverse guy with $50K to invest, looking at $10/bitcoin would have only likely invested a fraction of that, say 5-10%.  Because he would've been scared to lose it all.

But a risk taker would have dumped it all into bitcoin, and would have made 10X more than the risk adverse guy.

There's a BIG difference between a payoff of $500K and $5M.  The guy that made $500K can maybe buy a nice house, cars, and/or live off of it for a few years.  The guy that made $5M can retire for life.

"Nothing ventured, nothing really gained."

Bitcoin is the financial nuclear weapon and have devastating power. I know that something very big is going to happen on bitcoin, but I just don't know when and how, the only thing I can do is to grab it first and ask questions later Cheesy

You mean: they will be bought.

I mean there might be some new greater fools  bag holders at the way down
some one has to catch the last bags and lose everything in every ponzi schemes including scamcoin bitcoin

so everyone in this world is also a part of giant fiat ponzi scheme?

Western civilization is a ponzi scheme.

Sell and store my money with the banksters? So they can enslave working people with it in exchange for a few trinkets? And possibly have it  lose value due to a war or natural event like major earthquake?

Governments survive by giving the impression that they are not going to fall apart, and yet they always do. Mathematically and morally, bitcoin remains a superior store of wealth, and a great social experiment.

You haven't lost money until you sell. Fuck all these bears. It'll rebound at some point. Sure, it could hit sub $100 but I seriously doubt it. Either way, it'll reach a point where too many savvy investors will capitalize on the cheap prices.

I will hodl down with this ship if I must.

I will be very sad if bitcoin goes to 0, but I would be much angrier at myself if I sold and then it went up.

I'm still holding , why not ? I believe in this new technology (bitcoin).  The price is secondary , the use is primary.

The "blockchain technology" (the concept of a distributed ledger) has potential, sure, but:

1. Being forced to adopt a currency full of limitations and problems just because of the ledger is not gonna work.
2. the bitcoin blockchain is just an example of a distributed ledger, other protocols already exists today (and will of course exist in the future) that don't have the ridiculous limitations of bitcoin the currency and the bitcoin blockchain (and I don't want to go through that again, already discussed to death).

That's pretty much it.

Example:

The internet was an amazing invention that changed the world.
The dotcom bubble was just that, a bubble.

Selling isn't in their vocabulary.  They only know how to buy and hold.
