As I said, we are now moving from the downwards trend to a horizontal trend and we may stay bounded in this range ($200-$300) for quite some time, unless there is some fundamental reason that will move the smart money back in the bitcoin and thus weak hand will be shaken off. For now I wouldn't expect much more till early summer.

Oh, absolutely. Just a few days ago, the ol' Bank of England released a statement admitting that, indeed, they are watching Bitcoin with awe. So, definitely there are more and more 'hungry eyes' looking on Bitcoin. Now, I am still not sure whether the interest from the highest cast today is a good or bad sign for the future. But definitely Bitcoin has been noticed.

The highest point that BTC ever touched in 2012 was $15.4.  That was 8/17/2012.

It hasn't been 4 years since 2012.  It's been 3 years.  Since we're talking August 2012 to February 2015, that's a far cry from 4 years.  It's 30 months, or two and a half years.

Bitcoin is sitting at $265.

So, to correct everything you said:

reversing a bear trend takes a little while. That is when the smart money kicks in. By the time general public, including your hairdresser, starts talking about buying Bitcoin it is probably good time to start selling. So I am pretty positive right now, that we still have so many bears around.

reversing a bear trend takes a little while. That is when the smart money kicks in. By the time general public, including your hairdresser, starts talking about buying Bitcoin it is probably good time to start selling. So I am pretty positive right now, that we still have so many bears around.

Agreed - there's plenty of time left to accumulate still and we could see slow/stagnated growth for a while, just as during Summer 2013.  There's lots to be positive about in the BTC space at the moment!
