I am new here, and have questions about things I want to trade for bit coins..

I have some things I want to trade for bit coins, but I'd like to check out interest level in those things first. I have done the E-Bay thing before, but having to pay to post things that don't sell is a turnoff. Is there a way to "survey the landscape?" Or do you just post, and see if folks will go for it?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!
