Im not someone like you who needs to hype their coins.
I would be on Bytecoin if was not for the premine I read.

You should do a bit more reading and not listen to the monero shills with their endless, inane threads.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=755840.0

I was mining Bytecoin towards the end of 2012 - as far as I am aware there was no premine and anyone who tells you different is a shill for another coin, Bytecoin clone or has just been sucked in by the monero goons.

The thread you link to was starting by 'Cheesus', which got busted as a paid troll/puppet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740112.msg8485286#msg8485286

There were many evidence proving the cryptonote/bytecoin scam, I recommend reading this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740112

You make a strong statement: if based on the evidence made public, I call bytecoin a scam, therefore I am necessarily a shill for another coin? Kind of sophism to me.

I am a monero supporter, not a shill. Monero is everything but a 'pump' or a 'hype'. Of course you have the little holders that will promote whatever they hold in shitty hyping manners, but the core community, the core team, everybody is commited to fairness and honesty, is acting very low profile, to deliver something useful and not oversell fluff.

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

It is well known "Moneroman88" is trying to hurt Monero by playing the dumb hardcore supporter up to a point where it's ridiculous and bothering to everyone to read.
He was the one provoking BCX who felt for it like a child, for instance.

How is your Tenebrix stash doing?
Apt comparison considering the scamminess of both of the 'originals' Tenebrix and Bytecoin. Cheesy

Buy Monero for 0.24$/XMR now and enjoy 500$+/XMR in Q1 2016.  Mark my words.

I don't profess to know anything about XMR, but I am curious as to what you are basing that on, other than wishful thinking? What exactly is going to ensure XMR jumps from $0.24 to $500 in less than a year?

so where do you think we are at? feels still like ignoring to me, even if there has been some fighting and some laughing too...most still ignore monero, hoping it will go away if they just close their eyes long enough... Roll Eyes

i registered because i see the patern, we are still largely ignored, monero is fundamentally better than bitcoin but still ignored by everybody, including the most interested parts: the libertarians and freedom-fighters, but for the die-hard bitcoiners we are in the laughing phase (monero is dead, oh i thought it had die, etc).

other thing, op really seems forceful in its optimism like to try harm monero image.

I was mining Bytecoin towards the end of 2012

According to what I've read, that would have to be a lie.

If Bytecoin was mined for 2 years before its bitcointalk ANN, then only 10 computers were mining it.

But that's just what I've read.  Maybe you were mining it before the Whitepaper was ever published.  But then you would be one of the premine scammers yourself.

The true strength of Monero can be seen by having people who are frightened by its existence. This forum thread is a perfect proof that the scammy Bytecoin's users are extremely jealous, foreseeing the success of a truly anonymous and fairly distributed coin, XMR.

I personally don't mind haters or folks who're scared.  People are wrong all the time.  One simply can't ignore extremely advanced cryptocurrency technology:  Monero is exactly what Bitcoin would have liked to be.

After all iCEBREAKER absolutely nails it:
Monero is what the kids who bought weed on Silkroad thought Bitcoin was.  IE: encrypted internet money.

'nuff said.

Months ago you promised me $25.00 Monero in January 2015.

What happened?

~BCX~

Not so fast, there are 14 days left in January to see that $25 price floor fulfilled.  The launch of MonBase had some hiccups, but I understand they're buying Bitcoin.com and making it redirect to Monero.com.  That should boost consumer confidence.

I'm not sure it's fear or jealousy as much as cheerleading fatigue.

Although paraphrased due to poor memory, that one-liner is totally stolen.  Apologies and thanks to its OP.   Grin

Is it monero-trolling time again already? Feels like such a short time ago we had this shitstorm of trolls, reversed shilling and virtual cockflashing.

It's so obvious this is all just an orchestrated bashfest by a couple of entities controlling multiple accounts on this forum. Wondering what kind of strategy they will use this time. Judging by this thread so far they're mixing it up a bit more, with some positive posts as well... Interadesting.

I'm not sure what the proper response is on this initiated second (?) wave, arguing with them? 'Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience'
or just ignoring them completely. Let them have these faked dialogues of FUD/lies with eachother attempting to influence opinions around here... Hmm
