Comparable stock image:http://imgur.com/lCfJYQ2Something is wrong with the transmission. I haven't been able to get it to my mechanic. The car still drives, but the gear shifts can be very jerky or not engage. I don't know if it can be rebuilt or if it needs to be replaced.
I never spent more than $3k on a car, and this is the coolest one I have ever owned. I kept it going much longer than I expected, but it is not practical. The v6 engine sucks up premium gas and the parts are all expensive. Has been in great mechanical condition prior to the transmission going, needing only routine maintenance.
