private key from corrupted wallet

im wondering if there is any other way to find out what my private key is from a corrupted wallet other then using pywallet.

i hard reformated my drive and had forgotten to back up my wallet file. so after i got windows installed i used a program to recover my wallet. but when i try to load it it says it corrupt.

i have tried as well as a friend to get the info i need out of it but were both pretty sure the wallet is beyond repair. but i thought i would check with you all and see if mybe there is something else we can use to try and get the coins from the corrupt wallet to a new wallet.
