Ridiculously Secure: The Ultimate Crypto Wallet Vault - Coming soon from Altcoin.Center!

Ridiculously Secure is a true agent level vault service available for a limited set of crypto currencies.

Features include RPC access through a 3-layer end to end encryption (TLS on top of SSH on top of VPN), pure HTML (no JavaScript) web wallet,
PGP & Google Authenticator verifications, API for automated access by crypto related services such as exchanges, gaming sites etc.

The service runs on real iron servers physically hosted at Altcoin.Center's premises. Everything is encrypted.
All operating systems involved in running the key components of the service use security hardened kernels.

Basic version of the service will be free, extra features carry a small monthly fee.

More info soon. For queries, write to info@altcoin.center

Everything is encrypted..... but online.

Yes indeed - although not all the time and the wallets are several steps away from the Internet. The point of the project was particularly to come up with a system that is extremely secure and can still be [semi]online.

There's a chain of hardened servers running OpenBSD and a grsecurity hardened Linux in front of the actual wallet server. The wallet server does not communicate directly with the clients but using a database. All commands sent from the clients to the wallet server and the replies going from the wallet server to the clients are signed and encrypted with PGP. The wallet server does not have any form of remote administration system and all daemons run in a chroot jail, connecting to the Internet through a SOCKS 5 proxy.

There will also be a version of the service available that will run the customer's wallets on a fully separate server. Wallets running on these servers will be online all the time, if the user so wants, there will be direct access to the wallet RPC daemon through TLS tunneled over SSH tunneled over VPN. The certificates used will all be signed by Altcoin.Center's own root CA as well as the CACert root. The SSH login phase requires password or certificate, plus Google Authenticator code if the user so decides.

Oh yes, yes, another Inputs.io! TF, TF, I found you a partner!

I'm not aware of Inputs.io and therefore can't comment.

If you're serious about that partnership part then I'm definitely always interested in co-operation with capable individuals.

Actually I very much need a Node.JS techie or few who could preferably have some experience of [asymmetric] cryptography as well as implementing (very carefully) a very carefully designed set of daemons that are at the core of the Rediculously Secure framework. The blueprint has been made by a security-savvy systems architect with couple of decades of experience of secure system design - i.e. yours truly. Wink

Cough, no, cough, wasn't serious. TradeFortress (TF) ran a online wallet site a while back and managed to run away with 4100 BTC. His account is now -8xx trust on BitcoinTalk but he actively participates in discussions, still. Aaaaand he has all that money.

I see.

Well, I'm not going to run anywhere. I'm doing this with my own name and face, as a project of a company ran by me and my two partners. Our names and even phone numbers can be found here: http://csaregister.com/company/metacon-consultants-ou We are seasoned entrepreneurs who would not be stupid enough to destroy the trust we've gained through decades or work by doing something as mad as stealing our customer's funds.

I understand the critical attitude in the scene. However, it's not possible to judge anyone based on something someone else has done. We're not the runaway scammers but real people with something called morale and ethics still plentifully remaining.

Yes, Metacon was established in 2012. It is not the only company we've ran.

When I refer to decades of work, I do not mean only Metacon but the huge amount of work each of us three has done long before Metacon was put together.

I've personally been a registered entrepreneur starting from 1996, working mainly in the area of IT security and providing services such as doing data recovery for the Finnish police.

If a company goes wrong you can always shut it down and start another. But if you ruin your name and personal reputation - then you're done for good.

We act with our own names, we have a registered company to run our business, we have number you can call and and office you can visit.

Considering the fact that grand majority of the crypto scene is acting behind the mask of anonymity and are still trusted, I do wonder, what more do you expect from us.

Grounded criticism is one thing, baseless nagging another.
