Don't do what I did guys. I just got off a 5 day ban. I was guilty as charged, deserved what I got, but it sucks to be locked out from posting! Especially when stuff is going on in the world of Bitcoin. This is the only real place to go for discussion of bitcoin and related issues, so read the rules and dont mess around. My only excuse is I didn't feel anyone would take what I said seriously, but in retrospect, you have no way of knowing this. I wont do it again (I "incited violence" which is true, it was foolish of me considering I didn't even really mean it, was just venting, but still...)

Just a friendly reminder, be careful how you behave on here. Usually hubris is not worth it!

Go over to the meta section and there are always new threads created by banned users crying their eyes out. This is another foolish mistake, because it is "ban evasion" and is punishable with permanent ban 

I'm usually pretty respectful, but we all f$&@ up on occasion. Just be warned, the Mods will enforce their rules and there's nothing you can do about it.

Just like IRL, think before you speak. This community is pretty great really, enjoy!

What was your ban for? Was it for paid signature + insubstantial posts? Also why are you posting this in the newbie section? I would think that a hero member would probably know the rules (at least I would hope so)........unless it is a purchased account

What was your ban for? Was it for paid signature + insubstantial posts? Also why are you posting this in the newbie section? I would think that a hero member would probably know the rules (at least I would hope so)........unless it is a purchased account

He's just being good to other members out here (especially the newbies). The answer for your question might be this:
